On his own plane of being, how does Man create? Everything, and every person, contains the two Elements or Principles, or this great Principle, within it, him or her.

And at the other end of the scale, there are gross forms of matter whose vibrations are so low as to seem at rest. We recognize this even in our ordinary view, for we speak of the world as "a fleeting show" that comes and goes, is born and dies--for the element of impermanence and change, finiteness and unsubstantiality, must ever be connected with the idea of a created Universe when it is contrasted with the idea of THE ALL, no matter what may be our beliefs concerning the nature of both.

Not Energy or Force as the materialists use the terms, for their energy and force are blind, mechanical things, devoid of Life or Mind. that is, Energy at a low rate of vibrations of a certain kind.

This process is called the stage of Involution, in which THE ALL becomes "involved," or "wrapped up," in its creation. There is always certain correspondence in spite of the contradictory features, and the Hermetic Teachings act as the Great Reconciler.
